I need a new garage door opening. Which is better, chain, belt, screw, or direct drive?

I currently have a genius Intellicode 550 / a. When you press the button, I hear the first game to make noise like you are trying to open or close. The long-term screw is not rotating at all. Any ideas about how to keep this first game? If not ... What should I use? Speed is not all that important. Durability is important because I use this opening system up to 150 times a month. I have found the screw drives are the most reliable - And I've installed a lot of them. If the screw is not is spinning, remove the cover and turn the first game and see if the small black heart on the back is turning. If it is, the coupling is probably small broken where the screw goes into the engine. If you are not spinning, the release of the unit, pulling down the catch, stop the engine or disconnect the drive and try to turn the engine by hand - if that seized up, replacement needs - if you rotate freely, try again with the unit is disconnected and see if the bolt becomes - if not, I would simply replace the whole unit.
