Why does my garage door remote work only immediately after using the keyboard button on the inside of the wall?

For a month the station was off to my garage and after being restored remotes for Sears opened my door will not work. The button on the keyboard in the door opens fine. I tried re-programming the remote and it seems to work fine until an hour or so. Therefore it will work again. I tried pressing the lock on vacation and did not seem to be the problem. Once you press the command inside the garage all remotes seem to work including the construction in remote areas in my GM truck and a hand. After an hour no longer work and have to use the service door to enter Any ideas? Sears would not talk to me. They want to send a technician out. Thanks

I have never heard of this happening. First I recommend to delete all transmitters on your operator motor. Then unplug the unit for about 30 seconds to 1 min. Plug it back in and reprogram the transmitters. To see if this helps. If this fails, then my concern would be if they only had the power off or have had a power failure. If it was a power failure may have received a surge of energy fried that part of the receiver. Recipients do strange things when they go wrong, but I'd be surprised if this is the problem. Another thought is that you can have interference with other equipment in his garage. If you have a refrigerator or freeze attempt to disconnect and see if the problem persists. Hope this helps!
