Will disconnect and reconnect a drive garage door openers affects the distance?
I have an old garage Chamberlain opener model door and the need to disconnect it from Tap the power and have said that when you disconnect the unit from the force that restores the unit codes to the factory and so the "new" remote starters work I bought T won "as the codes are no longer recognized. I think this is wrong, but I thought I would try the wisdom of the community to respond jointly to verify. Thanks
Normally you will not lose the programming of the transmitters No matter what age. However, if you have an external keyboard that has wires going to your first party may have to reprogram it. Wireless are OK. Cables have a spare battery (at least Chamberlain do), but programming them is easy. Eliminate backup 9 volt battery in these as they go to maximum if you disconnect the power, if you turn age blocking the garage door safety remember to change it back once the door opened Woking is new. Have fun!
