Garage Door Opener Problems

garage door opener problems
Garage door does not work?

I have a garage door opener does not work in cold weather. It worked well throughout the summer. I greased all with white lithium grease. Not yet do the trick. When the door was jammed past, I disconnected the door and ran the first leg and the chain to move freely (open and closed several times without problems). It seems that the problem is not the first game. The door opens freely if I do by hand. What sounds like the problem here ... Does this sound like a case where I have to change the downward or upward force? Should I change both? Is it necessary to increase the strength?

As mentioned briefly by a former contributor - is necessary to adjust the force. If your door operates freely by hand (not catch on obstacles), then it is certain that up first match the strength up or down (depending on how the door did not seem to want to travel). That never used force adjustment (up or down) only become a little at a time so that the door is not pushing too hard and become dangerous. If the span does not solve the problem then you have to contact your local utility door - the first game could have a bad logic board or RPM sensor - depending on the drive model and brand.
